How To Apply

Corner Abbey Residences is geared towards mature tenants, and smoking is not permitted in the building.  If you’d like to apply, just follow the steps below!

STEP 1 – Book a showing. 

If you are interested in viewing a unit, please call our contact number (705-542-7445), or email info@cornerabbey.com to arrange a specific time!  We are available evenings and/or weekends for showings.    

STEP 2– Fill out an application form.

You can download the form, and either fill it out manually, or electronically.  Likewise, you can hand deliver a printed copy to the proprietors (Unit 100), or send via email to info@cornerabbey.com.  Although some personal information is necessary for screening purposes, we respect the privacy of your personal information and will handle it securely and respectfully.

STEP 3 – Lease Agreement, deposit, and orientation for successful applicants.

Successful applicants will be asked to sign a one year lease agreement, and submit last month’s rent to hold the unit.  First month rent will also be required prior to move-in date.  Tenants will need to arrange an account with PUC for electricity, and water (heat is included with rent).  Units are wired for both Shaw cable and Bell Canada telephone lines to allow different options to tenants for telephone, internet and television.  Tenants are required to arrange content insurance for their personal belongings with their insurance provider.  This can all be discussed at an orientation meeting for successful applicants.

STEP 4 – Enjoy!

We hope that all residents will enjoy the unique character of Corner Abbey Residences, and the unique conveniences of the neighbourhood.  The building owners reside on-site, and are easily accessible in the event of any building issues.  We take care of the grounds maintenance and snow removal so you can relax.   We look forward to meeting our new neighbours!
